The Sherwood Inn has been a popular venue for weddings for over two centuries. With its beautiful scenic views of Skaneateles Lake and its setting in the midst of the historic Village of Skaneateles, our beautifully restored colonial inn creates an idyllic setting for any wedding.

The West Lawn is an ideal location for a ceremony as it overlooks Skaneateles Lake. The West Lawn is next to the Sherwood Inn and in front of the historic Hannum House.
Congratulations, and thank you for considering The Sherwood Inn for your special occasion! We offer service excellence and professionalism in a warm, friendly and uniquely beautiful setting in the heart of the village, overlooking Skaneateles Lake.
The Sherwood Inn can accommodate up to 200 guests. We offer weddings every day of the week and private room fees range from $3,000 up to $8,500, which would include the Front Porch overlooking the Lake. We offer a unique dining room setting with ivory linen and all of your china, glassware, and silverware needs. Our required minimum is $14,000 in Food and Beverage sales on Saturdays and $6,000 on Fridays and Sundays.
The Sherwood Inn can accommodate indoor ceremonies for a maximum 80 people. We also offer an option for outdoor ceremonies on our West Lawn, in front of the Hannum House. Additional costs for this service and all other services are based on your needs.
Our onsite bakery, The Patisserie, offers a variety of custom-made cakes and desserts. Or you may order from another vendor for an additional fee.
Because of our overnight guests, bands or DJs may play no later than 11pm. Please note you may be required to reserve the overnight rooms just above the music.
Once you have confirmed a booking with an advanced deposit and a signed contract, be sure to let us know if you require overnight accommodations. We will be happy to build a room block, based on availability. under your name.
